From Dallas (Show Dallas (Option B) Directions) (Hide Dallas (Option B) Directions)
Take IH-35 south from downtown Dallas. Approximately 5 miles south of downtown Dallas take Hwy 67 (Hwy 67 only goes one way, which is south westerly). You will stay on Hwy 67 for almost exactly 80 miles. Once you get to Glen Rose (70 miles) you will go 10 more miles (you are still on Hwy 67). Once you get to the top of a very tall hill you will see a Rest Area on your right. Slow down to 40 MPH because you are getting ready to take a left turn on County Road 2013 (there is no traffic signal at CR 2013 and you will also see a Rough Creek sign on your right hand side Hwy 67 with an arrow pointing to the left). Take a left on CR 2013 and go 4 miles. You will see the Rough Creek gate on your right. Enter through the gate and go 3 miles and you will arrive at the Lodge.

Take the south airport exit from any terminal. After going through the toll plaza, move to the right hand lane. Take the Hwy 183 west/Hwy 360 south exit. After 1 mile, take the Hwy 360 south exit. Stay on Hwy 360 for 13 miles, you will pass Six Flags Over Texas. Take I 20 west towards Ft. Worth. You will stay on I 20 for 16 miles until reaching I 35W south (Waco). Take the I 35W south exit and stay on the highway for 21 miles. You will exit on Hwy 67 in Alvarado. Turn right (south) on Hwy 67. You will stay on Hwy 67 for almost exactly 45 miles. Once you get to Glen Rose (35 miles) you will go 10 more miles (you are still on Hwy 67). Once you get to the top of a very tall hill, you will see a Rest Area on your right. Slow down to 40 MPH because you are getting ready to take a left turn on County Road 2013 (there is no traffic signal at CR2013 and you will also see a Rough Creek Lodge sign on the right hand side of Hwy 67 with an arrow pointing to the left). Take a left on CR2013 and go 4 miles. You will see the Rough Creek Lodge gate on your right. Enter through the gate and go 3 miles and you will arrive at the Lodge.

From the downtown area take the IH 35W south and stay on the highway for 27 miles. You will exit on Hwy 67 in Alvarado. Turn right (south) on Hwy 67. You will stay on Hwy 67 for almost exactly 45 miles. Once you get to Glen Rose (35 miles) you will go 10 more miles (you are still on Hwy 67). Once you get to the top of a very tall hill, you will see a Rest Area on your right. Slow down to 40 MPH because you are getting ready to take a left turn on County Road 2013 (there is no traffic signal at CR2013 and you will also see a Rough Creek Lodge sign on the right hand side of Hwy 67 with an arrow pointing to the left). Take a left on CR2013 and go 4 miles. You will see the Rough Creek Lodge gate on your right. Enter through the gate and go 3 miles and you will arrive at the Lodge.
From Waco (Show Waco Directions) (Hide Waco Directions)
  1. Take IH 35 north to Waco and exit onto Hwy 6 through Meridian to Hico.
  2. In Hico, take Road 220 north until reaching Hwy 67.
  3. Continue onto Hwy 67 north until reaching County Road 2013.
  4. Turn right (south) on County Road 2013.
  5. Continue south for approximately four miles to the Lodge entrance on your right.
  6. Turn right through the gate and follow the road to the Lodge set off to the right.
From Austin (Show Austin Directions) (Hide Austin Directions)
  1. Take IH 35 north to Waco.
  2. Exit Hwy 6 west through Meridian to Hico.
  3. In Hico, take Road 220 north until reaching Hwy 67.
  4. Continue onto Hwy 67 north until reaching County Road 2013. Turn right (south) on County Road 2013.
  5. Continue south for approximately four miles to the Lodge entrance on your right.
  6. Turn right through the gate and follow the road to the Lodge set off to the right.
From San Antonio (Show San Antonio Directions) (Hide San Antonio Directions)
  1. Take Hwy 281 north to Lampasas through Hamilton to Hico.
  2. In Hico, take Road 220 north until reaching Hwy 67.
  3. Continue onto Hwy 67 north for approximately one mile until reaching County Road 2013.
  4. Turn right (south) on County Road 2013.
  5. Continue south for approximately four miles to the Lodge entrance on your right.
  6. Turn right through the gate and follow the road to the Lodge set off to the right.
