Rough Creek Lodge’s Resort Fee covers many of these activities. Some activities are available at an additional charge and require advance notice. Please contact the Concierge for up-to-the-minute information and ADA accessibility. All prices are for Lodge overnight guests. Guests not staying at the Lodge may incur an additional fee.

Low Ropes Course
Elements include Zig Zag, A-Frame, Trolley, TP Shuffle, The Tunnel (Porthole) and the Mountain Tops. $45 per person for three, $55 per person for six activities, with a minimum of eight guests.

GPS Navigation
Using our provided handheld Global Positioning Satellite units, each team navigates a preset course utilizing GPS coordinates. At each location, an item will be found with a task to be performed. $140 per team, with a maximum of five guests per team. Approximate time needed is from two to three hours. Instruction is provided.

Scavenger Hunts
Using only a compass, group teams compete to retrieve the most items from a list. We provide all equipment and scavenger items, and rescue any “navigationally challenged” participants. $75 per team with a maximum of four guests per team. Approximate time needed is one to two hours.
Indoor scavenger hunts are conducted within the Main Lodge. $40 per team, with a maximum of four guests per team. Approximate time needed is one to two hours. ATV/Four-wheeling hunts are available for $100 per person.

Rocket Building
Groups divide into teams and build, launch, and recover a rocket. This event is held on our Front Lawn, within easy walking distance of the Lodge. $100 per team, with a maximum of five guests per team, and a minimum of two teams. Approximate time needed is one hour.

Chili Cookoffs
Each team is provided with meat, pre-cut vegetables, and spices. We can provide Judges or the team may be the judge of the winner. Teams are judged based on Team Name, Verbal Presentation, and of course, the taste of the chili. A beer bar and bartender may be added at an additional cost. $35 per person, with a minimum of ten guests. Approximate time needed is two hours.

Five Stand Shooting Tourney
A competitive shooting event that is challenging for men and women. Our instructors assist shooters of all skill levels with advice and instruction. Conducted within walking distance of the Main Lodge. $20 per person, with a minimum of five guests. Approximate time needed is two hours.

Sporting Clays Shooting Tourney
Offers a ten station, 100 target shooting course for improving your wing-shooting skills. There is a two-person minimum Friday through Sunday, and a four-person minimum on Monday through Thursday. $60 (plus shells) per person per round.

Groups are divided into teams. Each team takes a number of shots at Five-Stand, Archery, Horseshoes, and Free-Throws, with a Three-legged Relay Race between the teams to finish the event.

A great activity for the shooter to warm up prior to hunting or sporting clays. It is also a good place to learn gun safety and proper shooting techniques for the shotgun sports. Youth guns are available. Each 30-minute session is $20 per round of 20 targets.
