Housemade Breads
Our housemade breads are made daily with the same starter we began with when the doors first opened. (January 15, 1998)
Some of our “standard” breads include the 5-Seed, Sourdough, Jalapeno Cheese, Wheat and Raisin Walnut.
Breakfast Menu
The breakfast menu is typically Chef’s Choice based on number of guests in-house. Breakfast itself varies daily and may include a full buffet with hot and cold items or an “Off Menu” selection of vanilla bean pancakes, homemade granola and nut cereal, fruit or honey orange dipped French toast. Many times we will set up an Omelet and/or Waffle Station.
Lunch and Dinner Menu’s
Our lunch and dinner menus change based on what is flown in or brought in on a daily basis. This allows Rough Creek to serve you the freshest seasonal ingredients possible.
The menus provided here are sample menus. Utilizing the finest culinary techniques and impeccable food product Chef Gerard Thompson can create any of the dishes listed above as well as anything you might dream up. You are not restricted to these menus…be adventurous. Pricing is based on final menu selection.
Wedding Tasting
Weddings of 150ppl or more will be treated to a Wedding Tasting approximately three months prior to the “Big Day”. By this time you will have shared your thoughts regarding the food you would like to have served for the rehearsal and reception. This day allows you one-on-one interactive conversation with Chef regarding specific cuts of meat, sauces, cakes, Hors d’Oeuvres, Wines, Champagnes and side dishes. This is a fun day with lots of food, discussion and visual support to “see” the items you are contemplating being served to the wedding guests. Whatever you do, don’t eat before you arrive! (Wedding Tastings are arranged in advance and by appointment only with the Wedding Consultant)
When hosting a wedding event the bride, groom and respected host families spend a lot of time talking, catching up and hugging. Since we know you do not typically have the chance to eat, our standard is to have food delivered to your guestroom so when you come back to a quiet place you can eat in your pajamas. Ymmmm.
